You will find Queen Creek, Arizona in the Southeast Valley, just south of Gilbert and north of San Tan Valley.
Queen Creek is an absolutely booming community which many consider to be Gilberts younger sibling. For so long the draw to Queen Creek was that the prices were just a little lower than Gilberts, but it was only slightly further from freeway access than Gilbert. With that you could save some money while adding just a small drive. Queen Creek however is also known for its larger lots and county islands with no HOA’s. As the pandemic of 2020 came along, the development and desirability of Queen Creek became very apparent. Anyone looking for a little more space was drawn to the wide open spaces of Queen Creek.
Queen Creek also sits directly up against the San Tan Mountain range which makes for easy access to hiking and biking trails as well as gorgeous mountain views!
Queen Creek borders Gilbert, and while it once had a smaller price tag, it now rivals Gilbert’s home prices. The draw to Queen Creek however is that you may have the same price tag as Gilbert, but you’ll likely get a little more space for that same price. For that space though, you’ll need to be willing to add about 10-15 minutes onto your work commute, which most will gladly take that trade off.
Queen Creek is a city that is continually growing with more space to do so! The city has grown by over 50% in the last 10 years and shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon. The appeal of Queen Creek is SPACE and views! While the commute is by no means long, you will find yourself about 45 minutes from Downtown Phoenix.
Queen Creek continues to build and develop. It is a fantastic community for someone who would like to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city as well as horse owners, hikers, outdoor enthusiasts, etc.
